Mixed Martial Arts

MMA, commonly known as cage fighting or ultimate fighting, is a full contact combat sport that allows a wide variety of fighting techniques and skills, from a mixture of martial arts styles to be used in competition. The rules allow the use of both striking and grappling techniques, both while standing and on the ground. Such competitions allow martial artists of different backgrounds to compete.

Karate - Goju Ryu Shorin Kempo

Goju Ryu Shorin Kempo Karate was developed in Okinawa by Chojun Miyagi. Goju Ryu is translated as "hard/soft style" and refers to the dual nature of the style. The "hard" aspect of Goju is the power and speed of the techniques. The "soft" aspect refers to the relaxation of the body and the smooth flow of movement which develops over many years of training.

Boxing / Kickboxing

Boxing, also called pugilism, is a combat sport which not only involves the use of various punching techniques such as the jab, cross, hook & uppercut but also incorporates defensive techniques such as bobbing, slipping, blocking and correct footwork and stances. Boxing also improves your fitness and stamina.

Kickboxing refers to martial arts and stand-up combat sports based on kicking and punching, historically developed from Karate, Muay Thai and western boxing. Kickboxing is often practiced for self-defense, general fitness, or as a contact sport.

Hokushin Shinoh Ryu Iaido

Hokushin Shinoh Ryu Iaido is the ancient Japanese art of the sword. Performed solitarily against one or more imaginary opponents, it practices the smooth, controlled movement of drawing and cutting in a single movement. It was created for the physical and mental discipline of the Samurai warrior.
